BENT, Clayton John De Vernot Passed away quietly July 2, 2002 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. His death followed the recent passing of his beloved wife of 60 years, Ruby, who died May 23, 2002. Clayton will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour and his great stories. He leaves to mourn his 3 daughters, Judy (Fred), Shirley (Clifford) and Louisa (Glen); 5 grandchildren, Lorelei, Kim, Karen, Kevin and Josh; 7 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Ines and Gertrude; brother in-law, sister in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Clayton’s gentle, sweet and funny personality will be sadly missed. “Tear down the mailbox, Clayton!”
