CROSBY, Dennis Malvern

Dennis Crosby passed away peacefully on February 13, 2004 and is survived by his loving and devoted wife Grita, daughter Tina and three sons Christian, Kim and Denann, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dennis loved his time at sea as a young man in the merchant navy during WW II. He saw the world and all it had to offer. His life was an adventure which took him from his birthplace in England to Germany, Africa and then Canada. During his years in Africa he obtained his pilot's licence and began his life long passion for flying. Dennis often dreamed about the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow but in fact he had more treasures in his life than earthly goods could ever render. Dennis and Grita shared an enduring romance, love and companionship that is as rare as a perfect diamond. After his cremation at Yates Funeral Service in Parksville on February 16, 2004, Dennis will take a final flight and his ashes will be spread across the heavens.
