ROSENBERG, Derek Norman

Of Burnaby, born June 3, 1968, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2004

Derek’s indomitable spirit will live on through the lives he touched in his 35 years. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity, compassion and the love he shared with his family and friends. He, in turn, was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him. The family is very grateful for the excellent care and kindness extended by the staff at VGH Cardiac ICU. He leaves to mourn: his parents Gunter and Karin of Qualicum Beach; sister Tanya (Lance Fryling) of Port Coquitlam; girlfriend Karen Klein; grandparents Heinz and Marie Rosenberg of Langley, Oma Ursula Janke and the Familie Hauschulz in Germany; aunt Gisela Jackson (Ron Bruce), cousins Danielle Jackson (Dave Skerik), Paul Jackson (Ashley and baby Rein), Mike Mesic (Elian) Kevin Mesic (Robin and baby Arianna), Nicole Bonthuis (Dean) of Parksville; uncle Larry (Maggie) Jackson; Auntie Bobby Cole of Powell River, and many extended family and friends here and abroad.
