Liddell, Doreen Margaret
(74) Parksville, BC, died January 31, 2006 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Born March 7, 1931, Poole, England, Doreen was the daughter of the late Leonard and Lillie (White) Stacey. Doreen enjoyed working hard, exercising at the gym, gardening, walks at Parksville Beach, family visits to England and Spain and huge belly laughs. She could often be found line dancing and carpet bowling in Lantzville. She is survived by daughter Jennifer, Nanaimo and son Dave (Cheryl), Parksville; sister Elizabeth Hamer, Poole; brothers Ken (Jean) Stacey, Parkstone and Bill (Gerry) Stacey, Sechelt; grandchildren Tyler, Toby, Tyson, and Stephen. She was predeceased by her husband John Henry Liddell, brothers John and Jim, and grandson Trevor.
A celebration of life will be held at Yates Funeral Service, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville on Saturday, February 11, 1pm.Â
