Dorothy grew up in Edmonton. She spent her married life in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Tsawassen and Parksville. Dorothy’s beautiful smile, sparkling eyes and sunny personality endeared her to everyone she met. Dorothy enjoyed many activities and was the eldest member of Parksville Golden Oldies Sports Association (PGOSA). Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, John (Jack); brothers Reginald, George and Gerald; sisters Audrey and Mabel. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by sons Ronald (Colleen) of Parksville, Gerald (Jean) of Regina; grandchildren David, Sheila (Lyall), Tim, Michael, April and Brenda; great grandchildren Cameron, Connor, Sasha, Dillon, Chantelle, Rowynn, Skye, Nolan and Matthew; cherished nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held April 26, 2003 at St. Edmonds Anglican Church, Parksville, BC at 2:00 pm
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC and Yukon or Post Polio Awareness and Support Society of BC.
