McDONALD, Doug

March 6, 1921 – February 18, 2006

Doug McDonald (Errington) passed away quietly in Nanaimo General Hospital from respiratory complications.

Doug served in WWII as a member of the Canadian Scottish, later joining the South Saskatchewan regiment. Doug lived most of his life in Little Qualicum, moving to Errington 14 years ago.

He is predeceased by his son Jim and leaves behind a sister, Patsy, his beloved wife Clarice, daughter Colleen, sons Randy, Tim and Greg, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to extend heart-felt thank you’s to the staff at the Nanaimo Regional Hospital, Dr. White and Neil (Parksville Pharmacy/Medical clinic) and to our friends and family for all their kind words and support throughout Doug’s illness.

He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

There will be no services, by request.
