CARLSON, Edna Margaret
July 24, 1912 to September 14, 2008
Edna was born in Prince Rupert, BC on July 24,1912 and passed away peacefully at Trillium Lodge on September 14, 2008. Born to Swedish immigrant parents, John and Anna Byman, Edna was one of 14 children and the last to pass away. Edna is predeceased by her husband John and son Phillip. She is survived by her daughters Bonnie, Elsie and Debbie, along with 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Edna was a devoted wife to husband John for 59 years and a very loving and kind mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She was a hard worker thoughout her life and she instilled those values in her children. But the most important things in Edna’s life were her family, her beliefs in the bible and the door to door ministry.
Our sister Debbie has devoted her whole life to looking after our mom and dad, and the family appreciates that and we love her for it.
Memorial Service to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Parksville,
Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 2 pm. Tea to follow.
