of Nanoose Bay, BC,

passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on May 12 after his heart failed.


He is survived by son Wayne (Gina) and their children Timothy and Sonya; daughter Trina Soloman (Nolan Wannop) and her son Kyle Anderson; daughter Susan; brothers Leonard and Robert and sister Roseleen Istace; former wife Margaret Baldwin.

Ed was born on a farm near Parkerview, SK on December 28, 1938. He was a CNR telegrapher, grain buyer and stationary steam engineer.

He lived in a number of places including Yorkton, Dinsmore, White Bear, Saskatoon and Churchbridge in Saskatchewan and Fort Nelson,

Victoria, Sidney and Errington, BC. He dearly loved his family and will be sadly missed by them and by his many friends.


A Funeral Service was held on Monday, May 16, 2005 at Oceanside Community Church,

1420 Alberni Hwy., Parksville, BC with Pastor Jim Caruso officiating
