It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Jewer, after fighting a long battle with cancer.
Born in Montreal November 28th, 1943, Edward is survived by his wife of 39 years Lillian Jewer, his children Colleen Barker (Al), Georgina Hayward (Norman), and Edward Jewer Jr. (Elidah) and his 7 grandchildren Shayne, Taylor, Kelsey, Samantha, Maxwell, Chantel and Amelia.
We wish to thank the wonderful staff at the Nanaimo Palliative Care unit for all their care and support.
A funeral service will be held at Yates Funeral
Parlour in Parksville for family and friends
on Saturday , May 2nd at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the Nanaimo Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
