HALE, Elizabeth Dunlop (Betty)

On Sunday, October 9th

Betty Hale passed away peacefully at NRGH, from complications after a fall at home. Betty was a Scottish lassie, born September 4, 1907. Betty and her family emigrated to Vancouver when she was a young girl. About 1975 Betty retired and she and her husband Fred moved to Parksville, living in San Pareil. Betty is survived by her step-son Norm Hale, and his wife Lois Hale. Betty is fondly remembered for her feistiness, stamina, sense of humour, and joy in seeing things grow. Betty will always be cherished and remembered by family,

neighbours, and friends that knew and loved her. Betty touched a lot of lives and leaves a large footprint behind.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty’s memory to Forward House Community Society, 129 E. Jensen Ave., Parksville, BC V9P 2T9.
