FISCHER, Emily Eveline of Parksville, BC passed away on March 21, 2004 at the age of 92 years. Survived by one daughter Beverly (George) Millar of Parksville, BC; 3 granddaughters; Susan (Landon) Gaunt of Nanaimo, BC, Gail Millar of Milton, ON and Linda Millar of Nanaimo, BC. Emily was the last surviving member of a family of 12 and was an active member of the Mary & Martha Group at Knox Presbyterian Church in Stratford, ON for over 40 years. A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Knox United Church in Parksville, BC with Reverend Foster Freed officiating. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Arrowsmith Lodge in Parksville where Emily resided for the past 10 years and for the tender loving care they gave her, especially in her final days.
