CHENEY, Enid Kathleen
Enid Kathleen Cheney passed away January 4, 2005 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. She was born June 21, 1916 in Saskatoon, Sask., Canada
Enid is survived by daughter Sharron Louthan and son Michael Cheney, as well as her two grandchildren.
Enid lived on Vancouver Island with husband Robert Cheney from 1971 to 1978. Preceded in death by husband Robert, Enid chose to call Qualicum Beach her permanent residence and home.
Enid was a gifted artist who also enjoyed gardening as well as participating in many community activities. She was an active member of the Old School House Gallery and Art Centre. She also was a member of St. Mark’s alter guild and enjoyed volunteer work at Eagle Park Nursing Home. Her endearing friendship, quick wit, radiant smile, and warm heart will be greatly missed by all those she has touched.
A Memorial Service will be held February 19 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s Anglican Church,
with a tea to follow the service.
