BENTLEY, Ernest OscarJune 19, 1922 – November 22, 2006
Ernie passed away suddenly at home on the evening of November 22. A competitive golfer since the age of ten, and an avid square dancer for over 35 years, he enjoyed both of these fully during his retirement in Qualicum Beach.
Survived by his loving wife Muriel, predeceased by Emily his wife of 47 years, he will be sadly missed by daughter Catherine, sons John and Walter (Lisa), grandchildren Therese, Kelly, Kendra, and Lauren, and great granddaughter Ava.
A memorial was attended by many on Sunday November 26 at the Bentley residence in Qualicum Beach. At Ernie’s request there was no service.
