Evelyn Louise Leslie
November 25, 1926 ~ July 25, 2017
Evelyn was predeceased by 1st husband – Harold Astwood Gordon, 2nd husband – Daniel Hugh Leslie, son – Donald Gordon, brothers; Henry Dionne and Theodule Dionne and grandson Alan.
She will be sorely missed by her children; Bruce Gordon of Parksville, Anita (Andy) Shurben of Port Hardy, June Gordon of Nanaimo, Peter Gordon of Logan Lake, Judy Mikkelson of Parksville, brother Alfie (Frankie) Dionne of Cochrane, AB and their children, Mabelyn, Gail, Gladstone and Joy, brother Ted and his children William, Leslie, Gary and Jackson. Evelyn’s grandchildren; Angela, Samantha, Evelyn, Daniel, Tammy Lee, Robert, Jeannette, Katy, Gordon, and Lindsy, and her many great-grandchildren as well as Jack McLean of Coombs, Joyce Werner of Nanaimo and good friends Gerry and Betty VanHorne.
The family would like to thank Dr. Penny Bartlett and the staff on floor 3 at the Qualicum Gardens for their conscientious care of our mother.
Evelyn enjoyed being part of the Parksville Lioness Club for many years, and as she cared so deeply for their charitable work, in lieu of flowers, if you donate in her name to the Easter Seals or other Lioness charities.
