ROBERTSON, Frank Boyd
November 13, 1910 – July 14, 2006
Frank Robertson passed away peacefully on July 14, 2006 at the age of 95. He is survived by his loving wife of 79 years, Dot, and son Bill (Dale) of Australia, and daughter, Sandy (Bill) of Errington, grandchildren, Lisa, Kathy (Stephen), and Ross (Tanis), and great grandchildren, Sarah, Kaitlyn and Max.
Frank grew up in Edmonton with 3 brothers and 1 sister. He spent most of his working life in the pulp and paper mill at Ocean Falls, BC. Upon retiring in 1972, he spent a year in North Vancouver and another 2 years in South Slocan before settling in Parksville.
Frank was one of the founding members of PGOSA and enjoyed many of the associated sports, especially hockey, skating, slow pitch and floor curling.
Frank will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Dot, his family, and his many friends.
At his request, there will be no service in his memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parksville SPCA or the North Island Wildlife Recovery Assoc. in his name.
