Sept. 26, 1925 - March 19, 2009.

Frank resided at Qualicum Manor for the past four years.

Predeceased by his wife Irene in 2004 and son Terry 1979.

Frank was born in Shirebrook, England.

He served in the Royal Air Force in WW2, after the war he married his longtime girlfriend Irene. A few years later they decided to move to Guelf, Ont. They then moved to Port Alberni where he worked as a millwright in the pulp mill. Due to severe authorities Frank had to take early retirement. He enjoyed boating and fishing, gardening and in later years he took great joy in growing orchards. Traveling with his friends to many different countries giving him pleasure in researching and exploring the various cultures.

Frank and Irene moved to Parksville about ten years ago.

He will be sadly missed by his sister Peg and her husband Fred in England, and many nieces & nephews, also by many good friends in Parksville and Port Alberni.

Our special thanks go to Qualicum Manor and their superb staff and caregivers who went out of their way to make the residence his home.

No flowers by request, donations can be made to Arbutus Grove Church, or charity of your choice.
