Born in Comox, BC on September 20, 1921. Passed away in Qualicum Beach on June 23, 2009.
Jock grew up in Courtenay, trained in the military and was stationed with the 16th Canadian Scottish in Victoria.
He married Kathleen Chown in 1944 and after farming in Courtenay for many years, they moved to Coombs in 1979 and then Qualicum Beach in 1989. He was involved with Kinsmen, K40’s, Farmer Institute and Citizens on Patrol.
He is predeceased by his 4 siblings Tim, Alice, Dorothy and Betty.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen, son Donald, daughters Charlotte (Wes) Nickel, and Wendy (Ted) Walker, his five grandchildren Dianna, Brian, Johnathon, Jessica and Roy, 2 stepgranddaughters Erin and Alisha, his godchild Donna, and brothers Frank and Herb.

A Celebration of Life will be held at
Grace United Church, Alberni Way, Coombs
on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 2:00 pm
