SOUTER, George Robson
Passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Comox, BC on April 25, 2004 at the age of 92 years. He is predeceased by his first wife Dorothy Jean in 1975 and stepdaughter Sylvia Lancaster in 2003. He is survived by his loving wife Betty; children Donald (Sheila), David (Dianne), Eleanor (Delbert) McGonigal, Mary (John) MacKinnon, Margaret (Andre) Myre; step-son-in-law Charles Lancaster; three stepchildren: Patricia (Van) Nichols, Donald (Marj) Bowen, David (Teresa) Bowen; also by 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several step grandchildren in Canada and South Carolina.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Piercy's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. PIERCY'S-MT. WASHINGTON FUNERAL HOME LTD. (250-334-4464) in care of arrangements.
