George died suddenly and peacefully in his sleep at home.
George was born in North Vancouver to Donald and Margaret Rosie and is pre-deceased by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen, of 46 years and his children Neil, Mark, and Deirdre, also many grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Marie (Richard) and his brother Bill (Marjorie) and nieces and nephews.
George worked for the District of North Vancouver for 40 years and upon his retirement Helen and he moved to Qualicum beach in 1996.
The family would like to thank Doctors John Atherstone and Suvi Rasaiah for the wonderful care they took of George over the years.
There will be a memorial service for George on October 23rd, @ 2pm in St. Stephen’s United Church, 150 Village Way, Qualicum Beach, the Rv Phil Spencer officiating.
