Passed away peacefully on April 26, 2008 at Halliday House, Parksville, after a brief illness.
Born in Victoria on February 25, 1927, raised in Sooke and raised his family in Sooke, resided in Parksville for the past 16 years.
Gerry worked many years with the Bridge crew, Dept. of Highways, Lanford, B.C. Gerry enjoyed camping and designing and building intricate Lego houses.
Predeceased by his sister, Joan Roberson in Dec. 1998.
Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Eunice (Hills), son Ian (Cindy) of Duncan, daughter Lynn (Dave) Iskra of Pt. McNeill, grandchildren Andrew and Krista Roberson, Kira, Lacey & Marina Iskra, step-grandchildren Brandon, Brooke and Sarah; boyhood chums Larry (Betty) Rumsby of Sooke, Bill (Vivian) Hewlett of Pt. Alberni and Bill (Kathryn) Rumsby of Sooke.
