ROBERTSON-BAILLIEUL,Germaine Emma born March 18, 1921 in Bailleul, France, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, February 7, 2004 at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, Pierre and Julia Baillieul and brother Lucien. She is survived by John, her loving husband of 57 years; son Ian (Louise)‚ Robertson, daughters Andree (John)‚ Laughland, Jacqueline (John)‚ Parry, Nicole (Bill)‚ Milne and her much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and France, brother-in-law, Harley (Maureen)‚ Robertson, sisters-in-law, Jeannot Baillieul and Jessie Johnson, cousin Jack (Bernadette)‚ Bostyn and special friend, Josie Henry. Germaine came to Canada in 1946 as a war bride where she began her new life in Fanny Bay before settling in Port Alberni, later retiring in Qualicum Beach then Nanaimo. Services will be held at the Catholic Church of Ascension, 887 Wembley Road, Parksville, BC on Friday, February 13, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Reverend Father Jozef Kobos SDS Celebrant.
