Friedli, Gertrud Erika
March 3, 1913 ~ July 20, 2008
Passed away in NRGH after a short illness. Gertrud was born and grew up in Switzerland. In 1940 she came with her husband John, to Alberta. After five difficult years and with three small children they moved to Coombs. She was a dedicated homemaker for her family. She always grew a very large garden, enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, knitting and loved the outdoors. She still lived independently in her own house. Predeceased by her husband in 2000. Survived by children Margaret, Barbara, Lisa, John and Henry. Grandchildren Michael, Jason, Pauline and Mark. Great grandsons Braiden and Keegan.
Our loving mother will be missed by us all.
