April 21, 2009 at the age of 84.
Gilbert was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Helen Hair.
Survived by his loving wife, Betty and children: Cameron Hair, MacDonald Hair, Gina Allan, Michael (Janis)
Allan, Patti Allan and Nancy (David) Moir. Grandchildren: Housten, Holt, Hudson, Holstyn, Jason, Jeromey (Carla), Jessica, Kim and Jonathon, great-grandchild Helena and his sister Betty Dunne. Also nephews: Richard (Sooz), Michael (Sharleen) and their families, special friends Bob Kamerbeek (Wilma) and many special friends.
A private gathering in his honour will be held at a later date.
Gilbert was a kind and gentle man and all who knew him respected and loved his wonderful sense of humour. We all loved him dearly.
