McKINNON, Gladys Ethel
On April 6th, 2005, Mrs. Gladys McKinnon of Parksville, B.C., formerly of McDonald’s
Corner, Ontario, passed away at home at age 87
She is survived by her son Randy (Wendy) McKinnon of Parksville, B.C; her daughter
Joan (William) Holtz of Sherwood Park, AB; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;
and her sister Beatrice Wallace and her son Bruce Wallace. Gladys was predeceased by
her husband Cyril, her daughter Joyce and her grandson Duncan. Gladys touched the lives
of many as a mother, a grandmother, a school teacher, a tireless volunteer and a friend.
A funeral service was held at St. Columba Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, April
13th at 2:00 pm
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Knox Presbyterian Church in
McDonald’s Corners.
Interment at Crawford’s Cemetery Lanark-Highlands, Ontario. In lieu of flowers donations
may be made at the S.O.S. Parksville.
