KIRCHNER, Glenn
born February 12, 1930 passed away April 1, 2007 at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
He had a wonderful life and shared his positive outlook and enthusiasm for living with his family and friends. He was a professor with the faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University until he took early retirement to pursue his writing career and to spend time with his family. He was a loving husband to Diane and a devoted father to his sons, Grant (Karen), Mark (Dawn), Brian (Aylene) and Paul. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren, his nieces and nephews and his sister, Joan. The family will miss the love, strength, humour and in intelligence of this very special man.
A memorial service will be held at Yates Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, BC at 2pm, Thursday, April 12.
