Leaves to mourn: wife Bernice of 35 years marriage and pooch Tala; siblings: Don (Debbie) Brown, Sister Bonnie (Richard) Lavoix, sister Beth (Tony) Sharp, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews plus many friends and acquaintances. Predeceased by mom, Lillian, Dad, Roy and sister Bev.
Gordon was a funny, intelligent person with an insatiable curiosity. He loved the forest and worked for a forest company for many years during which time he built his own log home and cabin.
Airplanes and airshows were another interest along with reading and hiking with his wife and dog. When the good weather hit he could oft be seen leaving for one of the Gulf Islands with his family for the weekend. His most memorable trip was back to his homeland to see his relatives and a few new ones he met after his genealogy study.
Donations may be made to Parksville / Qualicum SPCA in lieu of flowers.
There will be a celebration of life on Nov. 25/07 at ?Arrowsmith Hall , Coombs from 1 PM - 3:30 PM ( Ford Rd. and Alberni Hwy. - behind and to the left of Frontiersman)
