July 10, 1945 – November 4, 2010
Gordy spent his childhood in North Vancouver, Kitimat and Kemano.
He worked as a first aid attendant and in the logging industry (Sechelt, Scott Cove, Chamiss Bay) as a hoe operator building roads - a job he considered great because it was just like playing when he was a kid only with BIG toys. He enjoyed fishing and boating the coastal waters of B.C. and exploring Canada, the USA and Mexico in his motor home. Survived by his sons Cayman and Clayton, granddaughter Trista, brother Bob (Evi), and sister Donna Bruce.
Friends are invited to a Memorial Open House from 1:00 to 5:00pm on Saturday, November 13 at 1257 Sunrise Drive in French Creek.
Special thanks to the Nanaimo Dialysis Unit Staff for their care and compassion.
