With great sorrow Gene Miles announces the passing of his loving wife, mother, travelling companion, navigator, score keeper, cheer
leader and friend of over 53 years, Grace Miles.
Grace is also survived by her sister, Shirley Drouin (Ron), daughter Colleen (Chuck), sons Dave (Roanne), Ken (Kathy), and Rick
(Susan), 11 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three nephews and a niece.
Grace loved to travel, accompanying Gene throughout his Canadian Air Force career in Canada, Germany and the USA, and hooking up
their 5th wheel RV to tour North America and to spend winters in the southern USA.
Grace is now on her final journey and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A celebration of Grace’s life will be held at the Surfside RV Park Clubhouse, 200 Corfield St. N., Parksville, Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, 2:00 — 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a thoughtful donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or BC Lung Association in Grace’s name.
