Helen Steele (Lamothe), beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Parksville, British Columbia, on February 9, 2010.
Helen was born on May 20, 1928 in Big Prairie, Alberta and was raised in Peace River and McLennan. Helen is lovingly remembered by her son Daniel, grandchildren Jason and Sarah, siblings Olive, Arthur, Denise, Norm and Rene, as well as nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends. She is deeply missed by her best friend and neighbor Gladys. She was predeceased by her husband, Chester, her grand-daughter Amanda, parents Helen and Gregoire, and siblings Josephine, Louis, Gregg, Roger, Robert and Henry.
