McMillan, Helena (Queenie) Corinne
Of Qualicum Beach, BC, passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of February 28th at the age of 94 years.
She was predeceased by her loving husband David, and her only daughter Gail and her niece Cynthia McMillan. Queenie is survived by her devoted family; granddaughter Corinne (Glen) Ovington, grandson Tim Desmarais, great-granddaughters Crystal Ovington (Lee) and Elizabeth Ovington, great great granddaughter Katie Chaperon, nephew Jack McMillan, great nieces and nephews Cindy Dore (Bob), Kathy Lennert (Mike), Geoff McMillan (Melissa), Mike McMillan, and Barbara Ann Riddoch, and their families. She also leaves behind her beloved cat Gemini.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
A celebration of Queenie's life will be held on Sunday March 16th, 2008 from 1 - 4 pm. at the Arrowsmith Hall at 1014 Ford Rd, Coombs.
