LEIGH, Hendrika “Ricky”
Passed away peacefully Nov.4,2005 at Eagle Park Health Care Facility in Qualicum Beach at the age of 88.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lyda, sons Ben and John, her 10 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren and her brother
Jacob in Holland. She was predeceased by her husband Derek in 2003. Ricky was born in Holland and came to Canada in 1952. Ricky and
Derek kept a beautiful garden in the centre of Qualicum known as the Leigh House, now the Chamber of Commerce office.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Eagle Park Health Care Facility for their warm and loving care
A family celebration of her life was held on Nov. 6th in Qualicum at the Old Dutch Inn.
