PALING, Irene
Late of Parksville, BC, passed away in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on Friday, November 12, 2004 at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by her son Terry, Irene is survived by her loving husband Frank of 57 years as well as a sister, Phyllis and cousins in England. Irene grew up in England and in her younger years was very active in sports as well as being a Sergeant in the British Armed Forces. In her later years she enjoyed outdoor hiking, golf and especially gardening.
A Memorial Service will take place Wednesday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the Arbutus Grove Church, 170 Hirst Street, Parksville, BC. Reverend Jack Van Holst will officiate. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations to the BC Cancer Society would be appreciated.
