MORT, Jack Robert
of Nanoose Bay, BC passed away
August 28, 2003 at the age of 64 years.
Survived by his loving wife Ruth; his children Doug (Barb) Olesen, Beverly (Henri) Remmer, Joyce Gladu, all of Calgary, AB; Kristine (Derrick) Mikkelsen and their son Brett of Qualicum Beach, BC; and Karen (Mike) Giesbrecht of Campbell River, BC.
Jack was loved by his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by one brother Larry (Verna) of Smithers, BC; three sisters: Velda (Al) Jones of Parksville, BC, Mary (Ernie) Mottl of Nanaimo, BC; and Shirley (Jackie) Kelly of Nanoose Bay, BC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Sharon.
He will be sadly missed by his family and numerous friends. Jack was one to always lend a hand to anyone who needed it.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
