March 7 2017, the Dog Man of Qualicum Beach passed over the rainbow bridge. Felix, and Bob, and all the other creatures will be very happy to see him, although those of us left behind will miss him very much. Almost every day for the last 36 years, James Drummond walked from his ocean side home on the beach to Qualicum Village. His pockets were always loaded with treats, and he knew the names of all the dogs along his walk. They will miss him, as will his wife of 64 years, Lillian, his daughters Jennifer (Ed- Nanaimo), Hilary (Tom- Oliver BC) and Mark (San Francisco), Grandchildren Jaime, Ian, Mike, Dean and Max, and Great Grandchildren Persephone, Amellia, and Zane. We love you, and will miss you very much. See you on the other side.
