James Milton

December 13, 1932 - January 9, 2010

Jim passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Eagle Park Care Home in Qualicum B.C. He is predeceased by his daughter Audrey and loving wife Beth of 50 years. Survived by five sons: Rick (Esther), Tom (Helen), James, Peter (Punita), John (Terry) and daughter Joanne (Dennis).

Jim spent his early years working on various light stations up and down the West Coast. Along with his wife Beth, they enjoyed many adventures commercial fishing the high seas off the West Coast of B.C. He had a fulfilling 35 year career as a mobile radio technician with B.C. Tel. The family wishes to thank Dad’s homecare angels; Leslie Bennett, Kim Geiger and Gisele McIntyre. Thanks also to the staff at Nanaimo General Hospital and all the staff at Eagle Park.

Jim will be sadly and forever missed by all his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.

“There’s a ship sailing into the harbour to a haven of comfort and rest. I am once again the Captain and my sweethheart Beth again my mate.”
