THIRD, James M.
April 14, 1920 - October 11, 2007
Passed away in Qualicum Beach at the age of 87. Waiting for him is his wife Eileen. Born in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan, he is survived by sons: Jim (Tracey) and Ron (Bev), grandchildren: Jim (Caroline), Lindsay (Jason), and Jamie. Also great grandchildren: Keaundra, Dean, Sierra and James.
Jim served 5 years in the Navy and was discharged in 1945. A year later he met and married Eileen and had two sons, Jim and Ron, and moved to Minnedosa, Manitoba where he was a projectionist for the Lyric Theatre.
The family moved to Clear Lake, Manitoba in 1960 where Jim became the electrician for Riding Mountain National Park, where they lived until retirement. He and Eileen enjoyed many years vacationing in the Gulf of Texas and in 1972 moved to Qualicum Beach.
A special thank you to his caregivers at The Gardens who treated him with such love and compassion.
