HAYLOCK, Janet Lyne (nee Tinkham)
May 20, 1953 - August 29, 2004.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. After a courageous battle with cancer, Janet passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She personified strength throughout her struggle and continued to put her family first, never showing the pain she was enduring. Janet demonstrated a love for life and her family that was contagious and will forever live on in the hearts of all of those she touched. Janet was always a welcoming, gentle and caring woman who will be deeply missed by many. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 22 years, Frank, her children Damon (Angie), Erin (Dean), Jenna (Dave), Emily & Bobby (Birgit), her precious grandchildren Taylor, Jax, Jaala, Trey, Genevieve & Christopher, her mother Marge and numerous other family members. Although cancer ultimately stole Janet's life, it never broke her kindness, beauty or undying spirit. Family and friends are invited to share in a Celebration of Janet's life on Sat., Sept. 4 from 2-4 pm at the old Community Hall in Qualicum Beach.
