Tait, John Edwin, of Parksville BC, passed away on March 21, 2002 at the age of 83 years. Survived by his loving wife Hazel, son Edwin and his wife Darlene and their children, Jeremy and his wife Lisa Marie, and their children Connor and Hannah, Graydon, and Kyana, of Victoria BC. Daughter Donna and her daughter Keili, of Victoria, BC, 4 step sons Wayne and wife Linda Harper, of Richmond BC, Eldon and wife Janice Harper, of Maple Ridge BC. John and wife Karen Harper of Victoria BC. and Robert and wife Maureen Harper of Prince George, BC. 3 step-daughters Charlotte and husband Carman Dobbs, of Cobble Hill, BC; Wendy and husband Jim Ewing of Port Alberni BC and Kathren and husband Dave Clarke of Maple Ridge BC, 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. John was an apprenticeship counsellor for the BC Government in Prince George for 16 years until his retirement at which time he moved to Victoria, BC where he held the office of Priest in the Community of Christ Church, and was a life time member of Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Association. He loved to hunt and fish but his greatest love was his family.
A memorial service will be held on March 29, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Community of Christ Church, 495 Burnside Rd. East, Victoria, BC. with Charotte Dobbs officiating. The family requests, due to allergies, that flowers perfumes, or strong scents not be present at the service.
