GORDON, John J.
of Parksville died on May 30, 2007 after a brief illness. He was 78 years old. Born in Camp Lister, near Creston, BC, and raised in Rossland, BC. John, along with his wife Margie, retired to Vancouver Island in 1985. They enjoyed years of sailing and many friends through Schooner Cove Yacht Club. He was predeceased by his wife in 1993. John leaves his three children, son John Gordon, daughters Robin Gordon and Terry Morrison, as well as a sister, Alice Chico, and brother Clyde Gordon. He will be greatly missed, but he is together again with the great love of his life. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 23, 2007 at the Quality Resort Bayside in Parksville in the Tyee Room at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
