NIGHTINGALE, John Preston (Jack)
Passed away peacefullly on October 24th, 2006.
Born on August 5th, 1935, in Mission, BC. Predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Veronica (Nicky) in 2002.
Jack is survived by his 3 children; Jacqueline (Shawn) Harvey of Surrey, BC; Eleanor Nightingale of New Westmister, BC; Richard Nightingale of Nanaimo, BC; his 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by all and remembered for the different way he touched all of our lives.
A special thanks to Dr. Stacey Shapira and the staff at Royal Columbian Hospital for making Jack’s last days more comfortable.
A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 1:00 p.m. at The Qualicum Heritage Inn, 427 College Rd, Qualicum Beach.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack’s memory to a charitable organization of your choice.
