Mom was a kind and caring person and made great friends wherever she went. She was born in Guernsey, Saskatchewan, and grew up in Richmond, BC, working at Twin Hollies, the family farm. Dad and Mom raised their family at their home on Steveston Hwy and moved to Vancouver Island in 1980 where Mom became a member of the Eaglecrest Golf Club in Qualicum Beach, and loved to garden, play bridge and socialize with the ladies. Their latest move was to Hawthorne Place Assisted Living, where she also enjoyed meeting new friends.
