July 6, 1927 ~ May 5, 2009
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of June Dorothy Padgham (nee Ferguson) of Qualicum Beach, at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on May 5, 2009. She was 81.
June was born in Vancouver BC on July 6, 1927, to Charles and Neta Ferguson. After marrying in 1947, she and her husband raised their family in Burnaby BC before retiring to Qualicum Beach in 1984.
June is survived by her loving husband Alan, sons David (Debbie) of Sechelt; Robert (Alice) of Nanaimo and daughter Maureen (Ted) Salhany of Port Coquitlam, as well as brothers Don (Darlene) Ferguson of Victoria and Jack (Margaret) Ferguson of Campbell River. She also leaves behind grandsons Matthew (Brandee, great grandchildren William and Madison) of Hungry Horse, Montana, Jens, Phillip and Elliot Padgham of Nanaimo, and Ryan Salhany of Port Coquitlam.
June will be greatly missed. Her courage, gentle caring nature and sense of humour have been a blessing to us all.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on
June 14, at June an Alan’s home in Eaglecrest,
beginning at 2:00 p.m.
All friends and family are warmly invited to attend.
