June 26, 1934 – November 3, 2009
It is with great sadness that the family of June Sweeney announces the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. June is predeceased by her husband, El and a son, Rick. She leaves behind her children, son Randy (Jenny) of Parksville, Debbie (Mike) Bennie of Nanaimo, and Lori (Jess) Hunt of Williams Lake, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and her sister Pam (John) Van-Santen of Mount Forest, Ontario. She will be especially missed by her loving cat, Romeo.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Yates Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, B.C.
