ZROBACK, Kasimir passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on July 4, 2002 in Nanaimo Regional Hospital. Kasimir is predeceased by his daughter Maureen in infancy, survived by his loving wife Winn of 56 years, daughter Susan (Zbigniev) Kowal, son William John. Kasimir is also survived by his two granddaughters Melanie (Garrett) Rogers and Haidee Kowal. Kasimir was a member of the 18th Manitoba Dragoon Tank Corps and fought courageously in WWII for the liberation of Holland.
There will be no service at Kasimir’s request.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kasimir’s memory to the BC Cancer Foundation.
