Born July 1, 1935 in Croydon, England. One of three sisters, (Cynthia and Sheila), born to Ralph and Edith Haggis.
She immigrated to Canada in December 1960 with her husband and son, settling in North Vancouver.
She retired to Parksville in 2003 where she spent most of her time nurturing her beautiful garden. Kathleen passed away peacefully at home after a brave battle with cancer on March 16, 2009. Survived by her husband Gary, son Nick (Julie), Grand children Monique and Riley, sister Cynthia (Mike), nieces Sharon (Pat), Barb, Claire (Joe), Lisa (Chris), nephew Cam, many great nieces and nephews, and her cat Cleo.
Special thanks to her caregivers and nurses at the Home and Community Care Service in Parksville.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m.
