JENKINS, Leila (nee Harlock)
Age 82. Passed away peacefully at Anne Duggan’s Home in Parksville following a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
She was predeceased by her husband Aubrey and her brother Richard (Marie Louise). Leila is survived by her brother Ian, sister-in-law Marie Louise, nieces Sharon (Al), Lynne (Keith) and Wendy; nephew Peter (Teri) and Leila’s cousins Joan and Donald. Lee was a very attractive and fun-loving young lady. Since February 2002, she has been cared for by Anne Duggan and her staff. They went beyond the call of duty to make Lee as comfortable as possible and treated her with courtesy, kindness and compassion. Lee’s family is also grateful to Dr. Morag Atherstone for her continuing care of Lee which included regular visits to monitor her condition. Leila will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
According to her wishes, there will be no funeral and she will be cremated.
