WHEELER, Leona Jean (Lee Oney)
Born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan January 2, 1926, passed away in her sleep December 25, 2006 in Qualicum Beach.
Oney leaves her sister Noni (Charles) Howard Brother Ted (Marcy) Wheeler, niece and numerous nephews.
At a very early age her family moved from the Prairies to Oliver where she graduated from high school. Her working years took her to California, Penticton, BC, North Vancouver and Parksville where she worked many years for Island Hall. Her true passions in life were golf, gardening & painting. She also made a great martini! Oney will be greatly missed by all
