Lilli lost her courageous battle with cancer on August 31, 2009. She was born in Lindeballe, Denmark and in 1951, immigrated to Canada, with her young family, to join her husband (Poul) who was working at Eaglecrest Estate in Qualicum Beach, B.C.
In 1963, the family moved to Parksville, where Lilli had resided since then. Lilli was a remarkable lady with her wit and infectious laugh. Being the perfect hostess and cook, no one left her home without feeling part of the family. Lilli loved to dance, host parties, and spend time camping with many of her friends.
Lilli was predeceased by her loving husband, Poul, of 59 years, in 2005. She leaves behind her daughter, Randi (John) of Black Creek, B.C., son Tommy (Debbie) of Blackfalds, Alberta. Grandchildren: Greta (Toni), Nicole (Charles), Mark (Mayumi), and Kai. Great Grandchildren: Alexandria, Monika, Dean, Renae, and Maya. Sisters: Asta of Parksville, B.C. and Margit of Undum, Denmark; brother Al Jacobson, and many other relatives.
The family would like to thank Tony and Muriel for all their support and tremendous help over the year, the entire staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Nanaimo Hospital and Eagle Park Health Care for their incredible compassion and excellent care to Lilli. Thank you to everyone who visited and kept in touch with Lilli during her illness.

on Sunday, September 6, 2009.
