McLAUGHLIN, Lloyd Anthony
85 years. Died peacefully in his sleep early morning
of September 4, 2003.
Formerly of Sidney, BC until 1983 but most recently of Parksville, he and his wife Jean were active members of the Pat Bay Legion and the Parksville Lawn Bowling Association. A loving and caring husband and father, he was predeceased by his wife Joyce (nee Mathew) and Jean (nee Knowles).
He is survived by his children Jerry (Barb) of Comox, Larry and Jim of Victoria, June of Duncan, David (Penny) of Winnipeg, Chris (Heather) of Halifax; three stepdaughters of Edmonton. Also survived by brother Norm of Vancouver, sisters Claire (Ray) of Prince Albert, June of Edmonton, and Mary of Calgary. Remembered by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
We are extremely grateful to the staff of Dufferin Extended Care for their wonderful care in his final months. A very dear and special man, he will be truly missed.
A private family service was held.
