Scott (Craigen),

Louise Christina

September 11th, 1924 to July 25, 2008

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Louise. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. She will now be with her husband Gerald, her mother Marguarita, father Ewart, brothers Jim & Doug and dog Cuddles. She is survived by her brother Bill, her son Bob (Wendy) Scott of Comox, and her daughter Margaret (Nathan) Clough of Parksville, and her only grandchild Shannon.

Born and raised in Powell River, she moved to Vancouver as a young adult to go to art school and take her teacher’s training. She married her “soldier boy” Gerald Edwin Scott on May 15, 1956, and moved with him to Victoria BC then to Oromocoto - NB, where they started their family. 3 years in Heimer-Germany, and 5 years in Winnipeg - Man., then they retired on a little hobby farm in Courtenay - BC and became “the egg lady” for 33 years. She then retired again on Parksville - BC where she’s been for the last 9 years.

Louise loved children, singing, drawing, volunteering and being involved, but most of all - she loved to talk.

Her celebration of life will be held at Yates Funeral Chapel

on 1600 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, Sat., Aug. 9th/08 at 1PM
